So I have a 13" laptop with a 1080p screen, but 1080p is way to small for me so I usually run at 1366x768. Will highdefinition media such as 1080p videos and wallpapers render at 1080p, or will they be restricted? Is there a way to make a hybrid resolution where text is 768 and media is 1080? I have Windows 7.

How is 1080p smaller than 720p?

Anyway, it doesnt matter what the video application is outputting, if your screen is running at 720p then that's what you will see.
