Hello, I'm wondering if you could advise me on a UPS to buy that would provide enough power to my rig to shut it off without damage. Preferably I'd like to know both the higher end and budget choices.

Here's the main specs that would matter and draw power
PSU: Cooler Master GX-Series 650W (Bronze Efficiency)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3
CPU: AMD FX-4170
GPU: Asus Nvidia GeForce 2GB GTX 670 DirectCU II

Note: This is an "active Power Factor Correction (PFC)" PSU & I like in the UK.

Solution
Look at a UPS that is rated at 800VA or higher.

That Cooler Master GX-Series 650W (Bronze Efficiency) can run on a simulated sine wave UPS as long as its capacity is sufficient. Pure sine wave UPS' are more expensive but if its within your budget then that is what you should get.

Make sure the model that you buy allows you to turn off the beeping when it's operating on battery backup power.
