HDD does not have any effect on gaming performance. The only thing that affect gaming performance is CPU and GPU. Yes, even the RAM does not contribute to gaming performance that much. But having at least a 7200RPM Drive is recommended as anything below that would be slower according to me. As it would make Windows Apprear much slower which no one likes.
If your computer has 8 gb of memory the game will run from the memory. The speed of your hard drive will have no effect. A 2 bg video card will take care of gameplay as well. Programs and games load up into memory for you to use them. After that hard drives have little effect.
