Radeon HD 7970 vs GTX 770

Well I want to buy a GPU because I am going to build a PC and I want to know which one is better, the 7970 or the 770. Also, which card brand is better and which one is more powerful. SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 7970 3GB vs MSI GTX 770 2GB. I know but not 100% that the 3GB in a GPU is for the monitor dimension. Well, I'm buying a monitor IPS 1920 x 1080 5ms.

the 770 is actually based on GK-104, +1 to all ur other points

If money isn't an issue, definitely go for the 770, it's only about 60-70 dollars more and is about the same as the 7970 which is 60 dollars cheaper. But you would see a different with the new GK110-400 architecture than the 7970s GCN architecture.
And most new games will use PhysX and PhysX would look absolutely breathtaking on that 770.
