As of today, my computer is officially a week old. It was custom built by me, and it is an amazing rig. I use a 4770k with a Sabertooth and a GTX Geforce Titan. Anyways, for the last few days I've been playing Crysis 3 at MAXIMUM settings while getting 60FPS and I have been loving the experience. This morning, when I tried to get onto Crysis 3 and I clicked resume game for my campaign, the game freezes and I have to restart my computer. This happens every time. Idk if it is my GPU because I've been able to run this game for days, and I can still play other games. PLEASE HELP this is killing me!!!

I have the exact same problem. I have the GTX 780 and played fine for a couple of days and then my system started crashing. It is a hard crash with the system automatically restarting. I turned down all of the settings and played for about 30 minutes and then it started crashing again. I think it is a graphics driver issues. The same happens in second life when I enable atmospheric shading. Hoping for a resolution soon. I have the GTX 680 and never experienced a problem although I haven't tried Crysis with it second life runs perfectly fine.

8/29/2013 Update: I think I have tracked down my problem. I recently purchased the NVidia GTX 780 which requires a minimum of 650W PSU and a minimum of 42A on the +12V rail. While my 800W PSU...

8/29/2013 Update: I think I have tracked down my problem. I recently purchased the NVidia GTX 780 which requires a minimum of 650W PSU and a minimum of 42A on the +12V rail. While my 800W PSU exceeds the minimum it has dual 12V rails with a max of 36A each. So I surmise the hard crash I have been experiencing is a power supply issue - i.e. my system is under powered causing the PSU safety circuits to trip. I just ordered the Corsair HX-1050 which has a max of 87.5A (!) on a single +12V rail! I'll update this once more after it is installed and put through the paces but I have a high degree of confidence this is the solution for my problem.

8/30/2013 Update: Installed the HX-1050 and all is well. No crashes at all. I'm happy. Frankly the PSU was the last thing I thought of. I hope Crysis 3 isn't getting a bad rap because of under-powered systems.
