Motherboard + RAM issue

Hello. I have a Z87 Deluxe and Corsair Vengeance 8GB (4x2 GB) RAM. So last night I was trying to fix error 55, so I removed my stock heatsink and CPU, and found out that there were bent pins. Tried to fix one, broke and is missing but others are perfectly back to normal
This morning, I tried to fix it with the RAM. I put 1 module in B2 and it worked. Tried that will 3 other modules, it worked. Did that for B1 and all modules worked. Worked as in I am seeing the BIOS screen where they detail the CPU, MOBO, RAM, usb devices, ask you to press F1 for BIOS set up,. Tried on A2 with every module, no boot. So did that again on A1, and none worked. So basically, A1 and A2 were fried but B1 and B2 worked. I then put 2 modules in B1 and B2 and somehow it booted up to the bios screen with it saying total 4096 MB. So I concluded, that missing pin(Pin was bottom right, near the inside border) most likely had to help control the memory and I FKed up by losing it. I havn't gone into BIOS, but will in a few hours because I don't have a keyboard.
Is this problem the Mobo, RAM, or a BIOS error? I'm currently returning my z87 deluxe, and getting a new replacement from amazon. But I'm worrying that it might also be my RAM. Do I have to use 1 module and configure things in the BIOS before I can use all 4 sticks? I read in the manual that you need to install a OS to get more than 4GB of RAM but that's later. A1 and A2 are fried and I can only use 2 modules. So I was also thinking, hmm, if only 2 slots work, I could probably buy a 8GB 2x4 modules and have that work, instead of having 4GB.
Sorry for being so long, just want to get this right as this is my first build.

is the problem BIOS or Mobo or RAM?

Oh I forgot to say, the 4670k was there the whole time(BTW, nothing is bent).
