I have a new AMD Raedon 7850 installed with all current drivers... (2DVI, 1 HDMI, 2 MINI DISPLAYPORT)

I have 4 Dell 24" monitors all with 1920*1080 resolution and each have DVI/VGA inputs.

I have Apple active adapters for Mini DisplayPort to VGA and MiniDisplayPort to DVI. I have VGA cables, DVI cables, and DVI to HDMI cables.

No matter what configuration I try, I cannot get 3, let alone 4 of my monitors to run simultaneously. The most I can run at one time is 2 monitors.

All the ports work individually. They will all work until 3 monitors are connected at which point, one of the monitors will fail.

Please help me with my configuration.

Thank you in advance. http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1719491/amd-raed...

do the dell monitors have display port input on them?

not sure but it might be to do with the apple adapters, they say on apples site they are active but should only be used with macbooks, not sure if its to do with it, there any chance of you getting a different minDP to vga or dvi adapter to try?

The apple adapters both work when they are the only monitors plugged into the machine... but as soon as I add another hdmi, or dvi (as a third or fourth monitor) they are disabled.

The first two monitors will work either with DVI, HDMI, VGA, or Displayport(mini). If you want to connect 3 or more monitors (up to 6), you will need to connect to a Displayport using an ACTIVE Displayport adapter, in order to work.

Info here (under What are the basic requirements for connecting multiple displays?): http://www.amd.com/us/products/technologies/amd-eyefini...
