Hello, i have a problem with my graphic card, it's making really strange and loud noise and my pc just wont boot up, i can hear some beeps, but only back screen and nothing else, but when i take graphic card out pc works great, i tried cleaning ports on card, then it would work for few mins and then again, black screen and loud noise. Sorry about my english <:
Config : Intel(R) Core(TM)i3 CPU 540 @ 3.07GHz 3.06Ghz, 4GB RAM
Motherboard: Intel DH55PJ
I cant remember what model is graphic card exactly, but its ATI Radeon Sapphire, i'll see :p

Solution
That's only the driver saying the chip is from ATI. But it was probably built by Sapphire or another manufacturer (Asus, MSI, XFX, PowerColor, Gigabyte, etc...). You need to find your exact brand & model.

As I said you can contact Sapphire (if it's a Sapphire card) and ask them for a replacement fan or heatsink if you want to do it yourself. It's probably out of warranty anyways this is why you have to do it yourself. But if it's still under warranty of course they will replace the whole card with a brand new one which would be much better.

Cleaning the ports is one thing, but it would have been better to clean the fan and heatsink instead.

Is the fan even spinning on the card? Did you monitor the card temperatures? It's probably overheating and to protect itself from burning completely it shuts itself down, that's probably what's happening.

So how should i fix this? Im not really good with those things, yes its spinning, and sound that comes from it its like something is hitting the fan, but theres no anything, i cleaned it few times but still..

Replacing the fan can be tricky on some GPU. Can you find the specific brand & model you have? Or if you have a Sapphire as you think, you could contact Sapphire and ask them if they have replacement fan for it. Maybe on some models you'll need to replace the heatsink too.
