4770k temp question

Hi guys, yesterday i just received my new 4770K and Maximus VI Hero mobo. I already set everything inside the case and updated the bios and yesterday I run the pc all day at stock speeds without any issues.
Unfortunately this month my budget didn't allow me a decent cooler so for now I will have to do with the stock one until next month.
Today I tried the Asus AI Suite III and it give me an overclock to 4,2 Ghz but the Cpu voltage was 1.20 and I was getting crazy temps in Aida 64 (In about 1 minute reached 100 degrees C). Now I know this things run very hot but... 100C its really a lot so I reduced the voltage to 1,04 V (in manual mode) and I got the core ratio at 40 all cores.
Now i get 4.0 Ghz at 1.04 V and after 5 minutes of Aida 64, no crash, no throttling and temps I guess decent around 90C max after 5 minutes.
Do you think this values are normal?
Any help or suggestion is much appreciated.
Also forget to say the RAM also are not the best. I have 2 sticks of DDR3 1333 1.5 v 4Gb (One from Corsair and one TwinMos). They will have to do until next payday.

Solution
This should not be normal. Suggestions:
You are not using an after market cpu cooler.
A part may have an issue.
You have overclocked incorrectly.

Thank you, yes indeed I am using the stock cooler for now. It will be just for this month next month I intend to buy a decent one but right now I have to use the stock one.

if all you have is the stock cooler then you should not be overclocking wait until you get the after market one because that temp of 100c that you got is very dangerous for your CPU and can damage it. A CPU is not supposed to go over 91c and even the 90c that you got now is too close to the max.
There is nothing wrong with running the CPU at stock until you get a decent CPU cooler, you want the thermal compound to have a chance to set and you want the CPU to run and have a break in period so that when your ready to over clock you'll have better success.

There are some stickies in the overclocking section that you can look at and get a good idea of overclocking.

Thank you very much, I guess you are right, I will restore the factory defaults on the mobo and wait for the cooler. Thanks again.
