FX 8320 Turbo Problems

The turbo boost of Fx 8320 is 4000MHz. But it doesnt cross the 3700 MHz mark. Why is that ?
i checked it everywhere , even in the BIOS, Turbo default settings are upto 4000MHz.

how hot is it getting? it will also only go to max turbo if the temperatures are within a certain envelope.

check that your bios is up to date in case its a bios issue, temps seem ok.

if you run prime does it still only go to 3.7? im not sure what level of cpu activity it needs to hit for it to full hit max turbo.

I think if you 4 core or less it will get to 4GHz else is 3.7

turbo means Auto overclocking as necessary, then why does it stay upto 3.7 when specs say 4 ?

Turbo is dependent on how many cores are being used. Run prime on 1 core and see what speed you get.
