Hello everyone.

I recently bought an i5 3570k, an H60 and a MSI motherboard (Z77A-G43 Gaming Edition)

I would like to overclock my CPU up to 4.5Ghz (honestly, if it's 4.4 I won't mind) but here is the problem :
I tried to follow guides about overclocking that specific CPU but they never are made with a MSI motherboard and everything is different in my bios than in the many guides.
I can't find the options they're talking about or even adjust the voltage (I can just manage offset).
If someone with time to lose would mind helping me, I'd be very grateful.

Also, in every single test in did following the guides, my temperatures were always higher than theirs. Could it be because of my thermal paste or something?

no because of your H60 - this is glorified air stock cooler - it is not meant for OC at all. Look at test results. The H60 barely handles a minimum OC, let alone anything above 4.0. It simply is not designed for that. The Hyper 212 Evo outperforms the H60. for 4.4 you would have been better off with that $40 cooler. For 4.5 and above the BARE minimum you need is NZXT x60 or H110

as far as your motherboard - often the is a bios setting to unlock oc options, such as advanced or performance setting - but you have bigger issues atm. I wouldn't consider anything above 3.8OC on that with an H60, IF it can even do that

for highend OC - you actually may want to even consider Noctua DH-14, Thermalright Silver Arrow or Phantek pe-tc14. They are same price range as a H100, Perfrom better than H110 or X60 and quieter than H110 or 100

I have the Z77A-G45 mobo and 2500K. Go into BIOS and change the multiplier to 45 using + and - keys. Then adjust voltage using + and - keys. Change Vdroop to 100%.
You'll need to stress test using something like Prime95. Test for an hour and monitor temps.
