My base for this processor is 3.3 GHz
I have overclocked it from that to 3.5GHz through the motherboard by putting the multiplayer on 17.5

If I go above this, my system will crash.

What do I need to do? Can I go to 3.8-4?

You need to up the voltage for stability. Make sure you use an aftermarket cooler.

Each CPU is different. You'll need to find that info by changing voltage and booting up. If it boots run a stress test with a program like Prime95. If it doesn't boot then up the volts somemore.

Ok well, when I go to 3.7GHz and use OCCT (like prime 95) my system will shut down. Do I need to up the voltage? And just wondering, would I go lets say from 1 to 1.2?
