Hello.

As the title suggests, I got a problem with my front USB 3.0 panel when it is hooked up to my newly aquired Sabertooth z87. My case is a CM Storm Trooper by the way. I have checked the USB 3.0 header inside the motherboard multuple times and the plugs fit the header just fine and the header doesn't have any bent pins what so ever. Futhermore, I have uninstalled and installed the Intel USB 3.0 drivers for the fromt panel with no results. At this point I am clueless about what I can do next to possible fix it. What could the course of the problem be?

If one of your two front USB3 connections work it has absolutely nothing to do with software.

If you're going to troubleshoot you need to try a different USB3 connector to your motherboard to determine if it is:
a) the motherboard, or
b) the case connector.

My guess is a defective case USB3 connector with a broken or loose wire to the left USB3 front connection.

I believe your theory about a defective case USB connector is true. I have done some tests, and no matter what I did the right USB worked fine while the left stil only provided power. Now do I fix the USB connector for my CM Storm Trooper case? Do I try to find a new one to replace the old one and change it by myself (which I need to do some research before even touching) or do I contact Coolermaster with my problem? I have had the case for a little over 8 months now, so the warranty should still be valid.
