Meh. For a tiny bit more than a reference 7950 you can get an EVGA ACX 760, its a bit faster and silent, which can't be said of the reference 7950.

Hey do you know how RAM frequency affects gaming performance? I recently bought 8 gigs of gskill ddr3 RAM and its 1600xmp. That frequency is the maximum my motherboard will take. How much of a performance gain would I see if I had RAM with a higher frequency?

0.

So long as you have enough capacity, RAM does not affect gaming what so ever.

Yea I probably didn't even need to get this 8 gig gskill ram lol. Although I did have 6 gigs of ram with 6 one gig sticks and 3 of those being on a higher frequency than the other 3.

Thanks Byo. I'll check that one out. I'm actually wanting to add a second 7950 for Crossfire. I have a 7950 Flex right now.
