My friend upgrade from AMD to Nvida because is XFX HD 7870 died (we have the same card). He gave it to me and it was still under warranty so i RMA it to XFX and now i have a new XFX HD 7870 sitting right next to me.

I was thinking about;

1. Selling it and get a new case and monitor

2. Keeping it for CF.

If i go with number one am planing to save some money for the HD 9000 series card and sell my other 7870 since there is a good chance of BF4 As a never settle bundle.

If i chose number 2 am gonna have to get a new Mobo.

What should i do?

More about : 7870

Well from looking at your system specs, you would need a higher power PSU to CF anyway. I like the 1st option but I don't know how much you would get for it, how much the 9000 series is, how a CF 7870 compares to a 9000 GPU, so on and so on. If you have a higher budget and can afford the time/money for a 9000, I would say go with that 1st option.

Yeah i think i will go with the first choice because there would be a lot to upgrade. Also i will have my second 7870 to sell anyways so that should knock the price down for the 9000 series.

Am thinking of listing it on amazon for around $200 since its a Brand New GPU that never came out of the box.
