I suppose the mobo you use determines how simply you can OC in a stable way. I ended up using AUTO settings for just about all voltage control on my mobo and reach 4,5GHz (fx6300) just as I write this note. I did this after I found that manual setting the voltages causes practical compatibility issues when for example a film on utube is jumpy or fails to show in full screen after system resume from "sleep". Practical aspects of using application while OC'd is key which made me search for alternate OC settings to gain processor speed. I am not done yet, but I do notice a more stable system with lower CPU voltages modulated automatically by BIOS, than I had set myself for stability.
