I prefer Asus. They have the best cooler. But let me throw another option at you. http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/ite...

HD 7970 for $309 and $279 after the $30 rebate. It has an extra 1GB of vRAM, ~15% more performance at stock with tons of overclocking headroom. The downsides are it costs a little more, it runs a little hotter, uses more power, no advanced physX... But hey... It's worth it in my book... That's a darn good deal.

Hi, the EVGA is going to be slightly faster then all the other cards because it has a higher core clock but that means it will also run hotter, it runs about 5 to7 degrees hotter under load then the Msi and Asus gtx 760. Id personally go with the Msi because its clocked higher then Asus while still keeping around the same temps, It comes down to personal preference there all good cards.
Hope this helped

the evga is clocked the highest but is hotter than the others because of that. the msi and asus are around the same clock speed but the asus runs cooler. honestly you wont see any noticeable difference between them you will be happy with either one

I picked the Asus solely due to the cooler. With that beast of a cooler you can overclock further and run cooler and quieter than all the others. But if you just want good out of the box performance then the EVGA will do the best but like everyone else said, it will be hotter and louder. The reason I like to pick the one with the best cooler is because you can always change your clock speeds no problem but changing your cooler is a bit more complicated and costly depending on what you want.

Asus, Gigabyte and MSI all fine

EVGA cheaps out on the SC model w/ reference PCB and VRM

The MSI and Gigabyte come in with the fastest factory OC

MSI - Core Clock: 1085 MHz / Boost Clock: 1150 MHz

Gigabyte Windforce - 1085MHz / Boost: 1150MHz (outta stock on newegg)

EVGA SC Core Clock: 1072 MHz / Boost Clock: 1137 MHz

Asus Core Clock: 1006MHz / Boost Clock: 1072MHz

Actually, the MSI and Gigabyte factory OC'd (1085 MHz / Boost Clock: 1150 MHz) cards are faster than EVGAs (1072 MHz / Boost Clock: 1137 MHz) factory OC'd cards "outta the box"

Asus also uses a beefed up VRM and custom PCB which makes them able to handle as much as 30% OCs. Gigabyte and MSI do the same thing.
