Brand new to graphics cards here so I might be missing something. Tonight after installing my GTX 770 I checked my HWMonitor program as well as Corsair Link. My graphics card seems to be reporting that it's running 32-33C. Now my last card seemed to be running around 71C so i'm a little confused. Am I doing something wrong or is my computer wrongly reporting temperatures? I don't get how a graphics card change can make a 30C degree difference?

Its probably right. Make sure you did not launch any stress test in your benchmarking / temperature mapping programs and also nothing is running in background taking up video card's resources.

If everything is alright, return it to the website / shop from where you bought it as too high temperatures can damage the card and in that case it would not be under exchange policy of retailer.

1. Ya cant run 2 monitoring programs at same time..... kinda like going on a date with 2 girls (or guys) .... :)  both try and get ya attention by overstating themselves :)

.....Run OCCTs GPU test with no other utilities loaded.
