Hi!

My computer keeps randomly crashing. It mostly happens when i play games but it happens while i browse internet or do other stuff too. It just shuts down then turns back on almost instantly. I built my computer about 8 months ago and havent had any problems with it yet. Ive tried searching for viruses and checking if drivers are up to date and all seems fine. What else can i check?

CPU - Intel Core i5 3570K 3.40GHz
Graphics Card - ATI AMD Radeon HD 7900 Series
RAM - 8gb @ 800mhz
PSU - 700w
OS - Windows 7 64-bit

Any advice and help would be much appreciated!

Is there a heat spike when the fan makes the weird sound? 59C for both is fine but if it spikes then there might be an issue. Are there any errors or notifications? My second PC had a similar issue and reinstalling windows fixed it. I tried drivers, etc and nothing helped but there were corrupt windows files.

Check the PSU fan is spinning. On my friends computer a small piece of plastic was stopping the fan. The PSU would eventually overheat then temporarily stop working. It would overheat more quickly with games as they would draw more power.

Those all seem normal, but benchmark all components and then post those stress temps. use furmark for the gpu, and prime95 for the cpu

GPU and CPU max temperatures are 59 ° C.

Also something i just noticed: the CPU fan (i think its coming from there) is making a weird noise every 1-2 minutes...

The weird sound happens randomly. No errors or notifications were reported.

It just crashes and restarts.
