it is the same card so with hawk you might get a 1-2FPS increase if your lucky.so if the price seems fair just get the hawk edition, if not get the gaming one.

I dont think it matters. If you have time to wait, might as well check it out, but if you want a card now, get the gaming.

As mentioned above, it's not gonna be a significant performance boost getting the Hawk edition. If the price is $5 more than I'd get the Hawk, but if it's an extra $20 I'd get the regular MSI 760 TF/OC.

I still have yet to see the price on the Hawk. Anyone?

No price info has been announced yet, nor when it will hit the shelves.

@polod, nope, 40$ for a 2-3 FPS increase is not worth it. go with MSI TF card instead of hawk.

I don't think it's worth it if the MSI 760 Hawk is $299. It's essentially the same price as a 670 (not 760). You can get Asus or MSI 670 at $299. I'd get the MSI 760 TF/OC $260 or the MSI 670 for $300.

I'm gonna guess the price of the Hawk will be $279. Simply cuz it doesn't make sense for MSI to sell the Hawk at same price as the 670.

just rumors and estimation with 299 hope it doesnt reach that.. i guess i will stick with gaming edition if that happens with the price, ill just gonna wait for the release and final pricing before i will make my decision

Is it a 4GB version of the 760? If it is, I guess it would make sense to sell at $299

don't forget about Asus. They run fast and quiet too. I'd decide on price. Personally I like the performance, cooling, and low noise from MSI.

asus is a little bit pricey here in Philippines and gigabyte gtx 760 is a little bit hard to find or it is not really available.. Im down to Asus, MSi, Palit, EVGA, Zotac variants of gtx 760

You would probably want to wait a little while until reviews are done, i think there might be at least 5% increase in performance, as it is said to have superior overclocking abilities. MSI wont just come out with a card if its only gonna give a 2-3% increase dont you think?

What are the prices? btw, in the US people aren't used to ZOTAC but I think it's the #1 selling company of GPUs.

@polod, Asus card's have a big heatsink so the cool comparatively better than other card's AFAIK, just buy the cheapest card you ccan find from ebga, plait zotac etc, performance inrease or decrease won't be much big.3-4 FPS increase max.

Yeah, I kinda agree. Get the 760 that is at best price and has good warranty. Also, if they are local it might be better to buy from them if you have issues.
