So yeah. I was wondering how much VRAM battlefield 4 will use on triple monitor setup for on 1080p. Will it be best too go for gtx 670 4GB sli or gtx 770 2gb sli. Which will give me highest fps on 5760x1080p?

Solution

The 7970 shines@5760x1080 simply because of its larger 384bit bus and 3GB of Vram. Although with both cards your going to want to lower the settings at that res. http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100007709%20600100181%20600286767%20600356257&IsNodeId=1&name=Radeon%20HD%207970%20GHz%20Edition

There is no way to tell how much stress on the GPU's Battlefield 4 will provide. If it's a performance increase of like 15%-20% then neither cards will be good for ultra 5760x1080p. Your best bet would be 770sli from these two options, as they are 40% better than a titan and deliver. Probably 2 GTX770 gigabyte 4GB windforce 3x will suit you best, due to the fact that sli-ing doesn't add VRAM, so you are stuck with 2GB of VRAM(which is more than enough for modern games, unsure for future games.)

Your call.

I know. But I don't got enough money for Gigabyte geforce gtx 770 4GB. That will costs me 325 dollars more if I buy the cards in Norway. And I can't afford that. But is it impossible to say how much vram bf4 will use on a triple monitor setup?

This stands for any game multi monitor:you want a good tri setup, get more than 2gb of VRAM. So I'd say the 4GB version. Or, if you are not fixed on nvidia, then the HD 7970 3GB ghz edition will suit you just fine.

So on a 5760x1080 a radeon 7970 will give me more fps then a gtx 770 2gb?

These question keep popping up but the fact is no one can say for sure what BF4 or AC4 or any other game that has not been released is going to do on current or future hardware until the game comes out and it can be benchmarked. Personally until I have reason to do so I am going to stick with my SLI GTX 670 because as of right now it will handle any game I have very well so there is no need to sidegrade to a GTX 7xx give that they are based on the same silicon with a higher clock and memory clock and that is about it except for Boost 2.0. For me there is not enough performance gain to be had for the money.
