About 3 weeks ago I purchased a Sony BRAVIA KDL32EX340 32-Inch 720p TV. Yesterday it developed a black line across the screen about 4 inches form the top. At the left side of line is a semicircle of white where there is no picture. The line was still there at startup this morning. Is there some adjustment for this or is the panel dying? TIA

This is a line of dead pixels probably reulting from a connection problem for that horizontal row.
There is nothing you can do and should return the tv.
The semicircle may be the result of an impact during shipping.
