so I decided to change from a Samsung DVD drive to this 24x ASUS one but I'm curious as to if my case will fit it
here are my specs

Solution
As far as size (and performance, really) optical drives are pretty standard, especially nowadays. So yes, that will fit with no problem. Some drives are a bit longer (deeper) but this ASUS drive is a standard depth.
