Before answering please note that i have never overclocked anything before, therefore please don't be too *Professional* with your answers if you can :) i tried to include as much information about my PC as i could. If you have any other questions please ask i will answer as soon as i can.

Also i do not wanna go too far and cook my GPU to the point it will break( its brand new). And i can't afford a new one at the moment.

My specs: FX-6300 3.5 ghz Sapphire HD 7870 OC(im sure its the GHz edition but please correct me if im wrong) my power supply has 450v (that's what it says on it anyway. 8 gb RAM. And when it comes to cooling i think im doing good, i have bought 2 extra fans for my case so now i have 1 in the front of the case, 1 at the back and the 2 new ones directly pointing at the motherboard. Now i will tell you what it says on amd overdrive: High performance gpu settings: 1050 MHZ and the max is 1400. High performance memory clock settings: 1250 mhz and the max is 1450 mhz and manual fan settings are at 50%. and the power control settings are at 0% the max is 20 and the lowest is -20. Now for the temperatures: power 0% graphics card 36. Also, could you maybe tell me how to overclock my cpu to 4.3 or 4.4GHz? (i have read online that it would be better).

First of, that config doesnt need to be OC'ed. It should run 99% of games at full settings. But as you wish, If you want to OC there are a few things in mind.

#1 if you overclock something by 10% expect only a 5% real world difference. So if you have a 3Ghz processor, and you OC it to 3.3 that is a 10% difference. If you was gettng 60FPS before, you are not getting 63FPS. This is a general rule of thumb and not always exactly true. I say this so you have realistic expectations.

#3 MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE LATEST DRIVERS FIRST!!! If you dont know give me the model number of your motherboard and GPU and I will link them to you.
#4 start OCing!!!

Just open the AMD Catalyst Control Center and click on "Performance" then click on "AMD OverDrive". Next click on the "Enable Graphics OverDrive" check box. Move the sliders as desired! I would suggest you do this is 10mhz increments until you notice programs closing and stuff, then back down 20-30mhz. Also check your temps and make sure they dont get too far out of hand. If you need to set the "enable manual fan control" and move it up to about 50-60%. Anything above that and its probably working too hard.

Anymore questions just ask!!!
