upgrading from AMD 8350fx and M5a97 Pro board! Not really much of a clue about intel if im honest. I'm just looking for a cheap board and then maybe will go up later.

No. You need a board with socket 2011, such as this one:

However, what do you need that much power for? You likely won't see a huge performance increase over the 8350 unless you are doing heavy computing.

No, that processor is socket LGA 2011 but the motherboard supports LGA 1155.
