SLI the 650 ti boost and 9800 gtx/9800 gtx+

Assuming my motherboard is compatible, and I have all the pieces, would it be possible to SLI my current 9800 gtx/9800 gtx+ with a soon to buy 650 ti boost. I can't tell if they would work together, or if they would be incompatible together, and i'd have to scrap my old card, or give it to a friend.

No, the cards must be from the same immediate family, ie the same GPU on each card. And actually, for the best overall benefit and performance, both cards should be identical.
