AMD Catalyst Control Center Problem

After a long procrastinating of updating my AMD Graphics Drivers to 13.9, I finally did it. After the installation my computer screen's resolution stayed the same (Basic 1920 x 1080) but the pixels were all discolored and pixelated. I tried to uninstall Catalyst Control Center but the same thing happens. When I try HDTV 1000p it works fine but the screen resolution is really small and has a green border on the sides. I tried to uninstall everything and downloaded the AMD uninstall utility to do a clear reinstallation of the drivers and CCC and when I returned, the same problem persists.

I can take some pictures of my monitor to show you the problem.

Any help would be very appreciated. I do a lot of work on my computer and would like to get it fixed as soon as possible. Thank you in advance.

Edit: When I try to open anything fullscreen at HDTV 1000p, the pixels turn all grainy and pixelated as with the Basic resolutions.

GPU: Asus Radeon HD 5870 Diamond

Honestly, I wouldn't expect that to be a driver issue, but rather a card issue. I would call Asus and pick their brains a bit. Maybe try connecting to another monitor/using different cables to see if the problem repeats using different hardware
