PURCHASE DATE: Within this month most likely

BUDGET RANGE: I am willing to spend up to 150$, Strictly no higher, keep in mind I am using eBay. USAGE: Gaming, I am planning to buy some newer games(Borderlands 2, Fallout 4, that is when it comes out) and I don't want to decrease the visual quality of my games for the sake of performance.

POWER SUPPLY AND GPU: My GPU is a GTX 550 Ti w/ an OCZGXS700 700 Watts.

SYSTEM SPECS: MoBo is a MSI 785GT-E63, my CPU is a AMD Phenom II X4 B55.

PREFERRED WEBSITES: As I mentioned, eBay. PARTS PREFERENCES: N/A, I simply want what will run the best. MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1280X1024, But I usually play games at a slightly lower resolution and my monitor can go up to 1920x1200.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: So if you didn't understand the title, I am currently looking at a GTX 480 and a Radeon HD 6950 and I want your guy's opinion's on what is the better card for gaming. I have already looked at some Benchmarks that say the 480's better but I know benchmarks aren't always perfect nor conclusive. The 2nd reason for considering the 6950 is that my motherboard comes with support for the ATI Hybrid Technology which means that I might get a performance boost since my 6950 will be working with my MoBo's integrated 4200. I would appreciate your recommendations on what is the better choice. Also, If you have knowledge of a better card for $ within my budget go ahead and post. Thanks!

P.S. My MoBo is not CrossFire compatible so unfortunately that's out of the question.
