Hey,

I currently have a GTX 660 running two 24" monitors at 1920x1080, will I be able to plug in a spare 8800 GTS into my computer so one of the monitors goes into it?

Will that bottleneck the 660?

I´ve also read something about setting the slower one as a dedicated Physx driver, is that recommended?

Temperature wise everything would be ok, case has good airflow and plenty of fans .

Edit: motherboard is z87 Extreme4

Many things will come to play if you would use two different GPU's. I think you are running fine now so why want to mess it.

Is it really that risky though? What factors would we be talking about?

As I said earlier having two different GPU will not perform better. And I think it will slow down the in game performance.
