Hello, I am upgrading my built with an Intel Core i5-3470 Ivy Bridge 3.2GHz so will my 550W PSU be enough even with my current system config.

Motherboard MSI Z77A-G45
CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB 2 x 4GB DDR3 1600
WD Caviar Blue 1TB SATA 6Gb/s WD10EZEX
MSI N560GTX-Ti Hawk
Cougar Evolution with 3 system fans
XFX Core Edition PRO550W PSU

Solution
Ok so you went from a 55w i3-3220 to a 77w i5-3470 which is an increase of 22w which I'm sure that you were not using anywhere close to the 550w of your power supply so your looking good with what you have for a PSU.
U ll not be needing to change that supply

It is a tier 2 quality supply

And it can even handle systems with cards like 7950 too so not a worry there

U ll have an o.c. Room too if u choose 3570k

And y r u going with a z77 board which is an o.c. Board with a locked cpu

What did you have for a CPU before? Generally the CPU does not take a lot of power to run and since you are upgrading that means you had a CPU and the difference in the two is not enough to make a difference. If you were upgrading to another video card then that's different, there can be a big difference in video cards.

I do like that PSU its really great specially the single rail Watt, I could have gone for the 650 or 850 but I was on a budget, well I wasn't going for the OC so the i5-3470 was less money and the option to add an aftermarket fan (not a fan of intel fan-sink) and I found via forums that it can be pushed to 4.1Ghz.
