Possibly, apparently on some overclocking Vishera threads the UD3 is not recommended. But eh, even a 970 (Don't get any ideas

The Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 is one of the most highly recommended boards for overclocking a 8350. The Crosshair-V Formula-Z mentioned above is also a good option, and has the same amount of power phases as the Sabertooth 990FX.

If you want the best of the best ASUS is the only way to go. With MSI pulling into a distant second and Gigabyte is 3rd best. Everyone else is too far behind to even matter.
