Hello, i am quite new to overclocking and till now iv been using my cpu at stock and i would like to finally take the leap and overclock, i am good at following guides. If anyone could give me a detail overclock i would really appreciate it. I just need something to get started as i am not too familiar with the voltage of cpu and ram raising.

My system specs are:

Gigabyte 970A-D3

Patriot Viper 3 Black Mamba 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600Mhz

First of all, you will need a cooler. I recommend the Cooler Master 212 EVO and the Corsair H80i. Noctua makes superb coolers, but they have a weird color scheme.

I found a few videos. Although they are not using an fx-8320, the technique should be the same.

I'd be careful with that motherboard, it's only a 4+1, not 8+2. Also, based off of what version you have, it may or may not have heatsinks on the VRM.
