I'm building my first gaming computer and I need a good affordable CPU cooler that is an equivalent to the Noctua NH-D14. Unfortunately I am in Australia so things are a little more expensive :(
I am running an FX-8350 and I will be experimenting with overclocking
I would rather not spend over $100 for a cooler.

Solution
Id put the Phanteks PH-TC14PE and the Thermalright Siver Arrow a notch above the DH-14 but those three are all priced the same.

The best buy id generally consider to be the Hyper 212 but be careful with it..... I just did 2 MoBo replacements where peeps damaged their MoBo installing it.....once unexplained and one was a burr on one of the mounting hardware pieces. You can see them stacked up here

Solution
Best bang for buck aftermarket cpu cooler is the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo it doesn't compare to the NH-D14 but it's a solid choice there really isn't any aftermarket cpu coolers that can keep up with or out perform the NH-D14 other then the Phanteks PH-TC14PE or Thermalrigh Silver Arrow.
