Issues with laptop randomly scrolling and some keys not working??

I'm looking for some help with a laptop. I haven't had any issues until tonight. Randomly, my screen started to scroll up. I hadn't touched the arrow keys or anything. It stopped, then would start up again in a few minutes, then the up arrow stopped responding completely.

Then, the down arrow did the same thing. Started scrolling randomly, then became unresponsive. So I'm trying to google and find a solution, using the number pad to scroll. If I scroll down, it sticks and keeps scrolling, although the key doesn't physically stick. I'm pretty sure that key will stop responding in a few minutes too, since the others did. A few of the number pad keys have stopped working as well - 4, 7, 9, and enter.

Troubleshooting tips? I'm not terribly tech savvy, but I can usually follow tutorials pretty easily. Does it sound like I need to replace the keyboard? I'm not sure what to do.

Oh, its a Dell Inspiron N7010. My dad's laptop that I borrowed (of course. sigh.) I did clean the keys/screen earlier with a (dry) wag and a screen wipe, but I don't think that would be causing this. I'd appreciate any help!

If I could pose a guess here, I'd say that either your keyboard is dying or the connector/ribbon's damaged....may be overheating is wearing it out as well. Anyway, I'd peep Ebay for a replacement keyboard, if it were me.
