Is my FX6802 Computer SLI compatible. I'm upgrading my GTX 260 to a GTX 660. I was wondering if I could install 2 GTX 660's as they are SLI compatible and cheap right now.

More about : fx6802 computer sli compatible

It appears to be SLI capable, as it sports either a 750w PSU or 1000w PSU. It also has 2 PCIe 2.0 x16 slots, which should offer plenty of bandwidth for SLI.

If the OP's is one with an X58 chipset it might not be.

Not all X58 boards were SLi capable, just like today it required the manufacturer licence the BIOS cookie and that model doesn't list SLi in its specs.

You're correct, but i don't know why the manufacturer would include 2 PCie 2.0 x16 slots and a minimum of a 750w PSU.

Because they support Crossfire by default.
