GTX 670 vs GTX 760

What is better the Asus GTX 670 directcu ii vs the Asus GTX 760 directcu ii?Also is a 550 watt power supply enought for either of these cards?

A 550w is fine for those cards, but i would recommend a reputable brand such as XFx or Seasonic. As for the graphics cards, the 670 is slightly better at 1080P ( but costs quite a bit more ) and the 760 is better at higher resolutions ( due to the higher memory bandwidth ). However, the 7950 is on sale for 240 USD at Newegg, and I would recommend that. Also, it can be OC'd to 7970 performance levels:

For a system using a single GeForce GTX 670 graphics card NVIDIA specifies a minimum of a 500 Watt or greater system power supply that has a maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 30 Amps or greater and that has at least two 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors.

They both have a Memory Interface Width of 256-bits.
