I just bought a couple of systems And am getting much lower Windows Experience Index scores than I have seen elsewhere however they are working. Yes I have all the updates I could find. Trying to figure out why my performance is so low.

Processor: A-6-5400k
Mother Board: ECS A55f2-m3
Ram: Kingston Hyper X 1600 4GB 1x4
HD: Seagate 500GB 7200 rpm

WEI #'s

Processor: 6.3
Ram: 5.9
Desktop gx: 5.0
Gaming gx: 6.3
HD: 5.9

All of these Except the HD reading should be considerably higher especially ram and Desktop graphics I just don't get it.

Solution
Those seem about right...since you are only running one stick of RAM, the computer cannot take advantage of dual channel. So, you have effectively halved your memory bandwidth. When you run a system with an APU, NEVER SKIMP ON RAM. Buy the fastest dual channel RAM that your motherboard will support. (8GB should be plenty) Since the onboard graphics on an APU do not have VRAM, they rely on system RAM, So the more memory bandwidth that you have, the better your APU will perform. Since you have relatively slow single channel RAM, and not a lot of it, the system will not perform optimally.
