It's been about 1 month since this problem has started. I never encountered this problem before until my front usb panel short circuited. I do not use my front to usb ports anymore and only use the back which has a total of 4 ports. I believe the problem started when i got my HUB for extra USB ports.
So I turn my computer on and everything works fine at bios menu, login menu and also logging in. After logging in all my programs start to load and still keyboard and mouse are working and always have been working then suddenly both keyboards aren't detected and also my mouse is not detected. This results in restarting my computer and relogging in. It works again after I restart my comp but exact same problem occurs. Eventually after restarting MANY times it works but after plugging in my portable hard drive, all my usb drivers except anything plugged into hub is working ceases to work. Sorry if i'm going around in a circle with this explaination but does anyone have any idea how to fix this?
