Hi guys I'm in the process of seriously considering buying this board as I've heard nothing but good things about this one and the extreme 4 as well if your on a budget.

My first question is will the Asrock Z77 Extreme 6 fit in a Corsair 500r Black Case?

My second question is if the answer is yes how many fans can i connect to this motherboard. I want to run at least 6-8 fans including the 2 on my Hyper 212 Evo. My system specs will be:

Case-Corsair 500r

CPU-Intel i7 3770k

RAM- 16 gb Corsair Low Vengeance DDR3 1600

GPU- MSI Gaming Geforce GTX 760

PSU- Corsair HX750

Motherboard- Asrock Z77 Extreme 6 LGA 1155

CPU Cooler- CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Evo

Fans I want to add are as follows and please make any recommendations if you see where i could mount them and if it is possible to connect this many and any recommendations of an appropriate number of case fans that i should be running with the CPU Cooler Push/Pull set-up with this case is appreciated. :}
On a side note i will be mainly using this pc gaming thx.

Bitfenix Spectre Pro LED Blue 120mm Case Fans (I want to use 2 to replace the Corsair stock ones up front and use 2 others 1 next to the power supply and the other to put in the rear as exhaust not sure if it should be another 140mm one here but if so please let me know)

Bitfenix Spectre Pro LED Blue 140mm Case Fans (Want to use 2 of these on top of the case as exhaust fans)

Bitfenix Spectre Pro LED Blue 200mm Case Fan (Replace Stock Corsair 200mm on the Side Panel)

CoolerMaster Blue LED 120mm Sicklefans- (2 on my Hyper 212 Evo)

Well, the two cpu fans you should attach to the mobo, not the fan controller. Its better to let the BIOS control those.

As for the other 6, you should be able to attach all of them to your fan controller, even though it only has 5 connections. Each "channel" supports up to 10W, so as long as any 2 fans total to 10W or less, you can attach all 6. In my opinion, I would attach the two front fans to the same channel.

Note: You will have to buy a splitter to attach multiple fans to one channel. Try to get one that supports 4 pins unless your...

The z77 extreme6 has 2 cpu fan ports. There are 3 more ports for chassis fans. To run more fans, you will need to buy a fan controller. I'm not sure if you can run two fans off of one of the chassis fan ports. I ended up buying a fan controller myself since I did not necessarily want to run all my fans at once (I have 7 case fans).

You don't need a fancy fan controller. Any one that runs up to 5 fans will do. Most are manual control, while a few options have touch screens.

I was thinking as much if and I forgot to mention that I would also have the Bitfenix Recon Fan Controller installed in my build as well would that be enough to run the 8 fans that I mentioned?
