Hello ,
What are the graphic cards i can buy under 150$ to play games like Batman arkham city and far cry 3 and a lil more than minimum settings Crysis 3 if not to the maximum ..

I suppose i can get a gtx 650 ti boost 2gb edition? is it a good one to buy?
Will it support my Core2Duo Processor (2.8ghz) and ddr2 ram?

Screen Resolution is 1280x720
Power-Supply is Antec 400W (but i am considering buy a new one if required)
Mother board is Gigabyte ga-g31m-es2l

I was actually gonna buy a whole new pc but then i thought lets just buy a graphic card for now and then will buy a new pc after a year or 2 when the i7-3770k price will fall a lil and then use this graphic card in the new pc later??

Thankyou

That dual core and ddr2 ram would definitly botleneck the 650ti :/  and you also need a psu that can handle it. (in case your current build doesnt) My real sugestion is that you hgo with your original idea and build a brand new pc, if you are worried about i7 prices you an always go AMD cpu, save 100$ and still get a great performance :)
Think about it, GL.

Repply @sencod post
The problem is that , if I buy annew pc now then my budget for gpu wpuld be very low .. so its either no graphic card n new pc or old pc new graphic card ..
I am considering i5-3570k processor for new pc if I buy now .. i7 is way too much at the cost when compared to i5-3570k the cost diffence is 108 $ and the speed difference is only 0.1ghz n no hyper threading ..
So a 650ti boost graphic card and i5-3570k with annew powersupply wud be a better option ??

Ian Cutress of Anandtech tested a Core2Duo system at 2.8GHz, actually, and showed that, at yes it was hindering the system in gaming (and much more so in non-gaming scenarios) it was gone at 2560x1440 "with all the eye candy turned up".

I agree with Muayyad AJ about the 7850. If not that, the 7790 is an amazing card, but it seems that most are within $10 of the 7850 he posted, so I'd always go with the 7850 over the 7790.

Edit: Oh, your PSU. Yeah, 400W is very little. Is it an 80+? Sapphiers' 7750 won't require you to get a new PSU, so long as that 400W one is decent. It can play games at med-high settings (maybe high-ultra at 720p, don't get your hopes up)

the card will be bottlenecked with that cpu but it's the best in that price range. and what's your budget for a new pc ?

My budget for new pc would be approx 700 $
Removing 250$ for i5-3570k
Removing 80 $ for rams
Removing 40 $ for cooler
Removing 100 $ for hard disk
OS is cost free
Removing 40 $ for psu
190 $ left for motherboard and gpu ..
Assuming I will use same keyboard mause and cabinet
