my problem is that I had my external hard drive protected by bitlocker with a password and thouhgt "why need a recovery key, when I know the password!?" stupid, I know. Then I installed a new Windows 7 on my pc and the external hard drive locked itself at the first contact with the new os.
Now my question: Is there anything I can do to at least get the hard drive back into "password mode" without the recovery key, so that I can get my data back by using the password, which I still remember?
