Hello, you believe worthwhile change a sli gtx 770 2gb (gigabyte oc) for 1 gtx 780 3gb (or sli gtx 780 3gb) to play on a single monitor at 1080p and 60hz games like crysis 3 battlefield 3 and 4, bioshock, hitman absolution, metro 2033 , far cry 3, max payne 3, the witcher 2, batman arkham city, shogun 2 total war, etc.. in the highest quality at a stable 60fps?

The other components of my pc is:

- Intel i5 4670k to 4.4 ghz
- Asus maximus hero vi
- 16gb ddr3 1600mhz
- Samsung 840 SSD 128gb pro
- PSU Lepa G750 80 plus gold

Thank you.

a GTX 780 will max out all game so would GTX 770, but i cannot say that all games will be solid 60fps but!!!! games like BF3 easy get 60fps solid , it all depends on what you want really, 60fps right now or 60fps for next 2 years or so.. ask your self this, gtx 780 is great card but pricey one at that, GTX 770 is pretty much same a GTX680 they both play bf3 60fps solid on crysis 3 60fps with FXAA but only on 780 and it will have its moments of diping into the 30s and 40s , then there is BF4 well that game is not out yet and i cannot say how demanding new engine is but that prob be solid 60fps too with 780 but gt remember price for that 780. :/ reason why i jumped from GTX 580 to HD7970 OC crossfire was it was cheaper get HD7970...

at 60hz no, that is waste of GPU power, only time you should consider going sli is when you have more then 1 monitors or something like 3 monitors or 120hz display or 144hz display. if your monitor can only display 60fps then having anything over 60fps would do nothing it does nothing and waste of power and over all not good idea, buy a new monitor 120hz or 144hz or get high res monitor or go with 3 monitor setup, there are options for the SLI or crossfire on top tier gaming cards.

i personally use a single 120hz 1080p display for my HD 7970 OC crossfire setup.

The 2GB vram of the 770 will be enough for games at maximum detail in 1080p?? (crysis 3, battlefield 3 and 4, bioshock, hitman absolution, metro 2033 , far cry 3, max payne 3, the witcher 2, batman arkham city, shogun 2 total war, etc..)

eh... depends on the game.... i honestly think GTX 770 its hindered at 2gb VRAM if you can get single GTX 780 with 3gbs vram you be good to go, don't expect 60fps in crysis 3 though even SLI and crossfires struggle max that game out with you start upping the AA also alternative is a HD7970 GHZ or OC edition that has 3gbs vram, games will and are starting use more then 2gbs and even using more then 3gbs vram. specialy once net gen console hits the vram will be a factor , i use to love nvidia ... but i swaped due to few personal reasons.... HD 7970 crossfire with latest drivers removes all microshutter... and is great option if you honestly.... want 60fps rock solid stable... hd7970 crossfire outperforms 780 and titan and is only $300 each card so roughly total of 600 to 650 and it pretty much out performs all nvidia single cards, and will !!! give you no doubt rock solid 60fps... in 90% of all games...
