suggest you go for a 660ti boost gpu. it be better & tad faster than the 660. msi , evga & asus both have better cooling but my 2 cents are on evga for their quality

I wouldn't say overall better. I am not a MSI fan. We have had issues with motherboards (X58 chipsets that idle at 55-60c and then stop seeing SATA drives) and GPUs (Twin Frozrs that fans die in 2-3 months) from them.

Also looks like both (at least on the 680) are pretty on the same cooling level.

I prefer Asus because I have had less of their GPUs come back bad and they have pretty good warranty service. MSI on the other hand didn't fix the X58 chipset mobo issue after 2 RMAs. Still idles at 50-60c in BIOS.

660Ti is not worth for its price 660 is good as it is cheaper and see this very very close in performance
ASUS is a good brand ... never used msi so don't know about it but it's also a good brand
you can buy any of these with your personal experience in past
in this weekend i am going to buy gigabyte gtx 660 wind froce its review done by tom's hardware :D

here see the Batman performance 660ti vs 660 only 1fps differnce LOL why to pay more :D

i would say get whatever is cheaper, performance difference is minimal. I can tell you something weird, i just played bf3, i thought, since i have 2 660's ill turn the graphics up to ultra, 1080p 4xaa, ran great. then i remembered i disabled sli for another game that wasn't running right with it (microsoft flight), so i was running bf3 ultra settings at 1080p single gtx660 at 60fps constant on a 64player map......... BF3 is well optimized for this card i tell ya.
