I have just Built a new computer system and have the GPU left to get. I'm trying to figure out, out of these two cards which one would be more suitable for basic gaming. As in basic gaming i'm referring to games like WOW or LOL, nothing too extreme like COD or Crysis etc...

I would like to get the most out of my system as possible. and am not too bothered with game video settings or detail. Just would like smooth running game play.

My system specs...

.Asus M5A78L-MLX V2 Motherboard.
.AMD Athlon II x2 270, 3.4Ghz CPU.
.Kingston 4GB Memory Module
.500W Power Supply OEM Version, Comes with case.

Any advise or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

Yes it seems there are not many reviews on the GT610 that I have been able to find. Hence the confusion.

I did take a look at the benchmarks for WOW. however its a bit outdated as of Mist of Pandaria. But thanks for the link.

I'm also looking at the specs of the HD6450 has PCI-e 2.1. My mainboard only supports 2.0. I know that they are backwards compatible and scale backwards. Will that minor decrease impact in any of my systems performance?.

I'm looking at using every lil bit of power and getting the most out of the GPU for the price paid. Cheers.
