I want to run two 4 display Matrox video cards that are legacy PCI slot cards on a single computer. I need a motherboard that has at least two PCI slots and 8 gb of memory. I would like to run an i7 chip or equivalent AMD. I haven't been able to identify a modern board that can accommodate the two cards. Ideas appreciated.

I don't know who you checked that, but almost all ATX boards from Asrock B75/85 H/Z77/87 have dual PCI. Most of ASUS and Gigabyte's ATX B/H/Z 7x and 8x have two PCI or more as well.

You can run 8GB on any modern board.

Thanks, that will give me a good start. I haven't bought a mobo in a very long time and didn't really know how to search.
