That is the motherboard I am currently looking at. I want a motherboard that is cheap, but will work properly with these parts. I do not need SLI support.

The parts that are worth zero I already bought, so the case, ram, and the PSU I have. I also want to add a ssd later.

Is there a better alternative to the motherboard I have?

Sorry typo... I meant to say ''since you don't have an k series CPU'' . It supports 2133 mhz although it doesn't say so... but don't take my word for it. It would probably recognize it as overclocked memory. If you are willing to spend 40 dollars more i strongly recommend going for the 4670k since you can overclock it and get a pretty substantial performance boost.

Whom well the h78 does not support the 2133 ram that I already bought that is why I was going for the z87.

If I got the z87 should I not get the k cpu?

Also what is the best deal for a motherboard that has SLI for this setup?
