WINDOWS 7 UPGRADE HELP? Can I upgrade my Windows 7 home premium 32bit- to Windows 7 Ultimate 64bits without losing all my data movies documents and everything saved on my hard drive ?. And it is even possible ? to do that because I were looking for just actually to upgrade my home premium windows 7 from 32 bits to 64! but I cant find anything which provides that

I saw an upgrade package on the Swedish ebay site here in Sweden which A guy seals a upgrade from windows 7 to the last version ultimate.

Going from 32 bit to 64 bit requires a clean install.
Files on the non os drive can be kept and accessed after the new install. Just do not have any drives other than the os drive attached during installation.
This would be an opportune time to install a ssd. It will make everything so much quicker.
Run windows easy transfer to export all your files and settings to a drive separate from where you will do the install. Preferably an external drive.
After the clean install you can import them back. Programs will always have to be reinstalled. The reason is that a program will have registry entries that are erased with the new registry.
And... If you only need 64 bit and not necessarily the features of ultimate(most don't) you do not...

Going from 32-bit to 64-bit requires a reinstall of the OS. You could do a backup of your files and restore them once the new OS is installed, but you would have to re-install any programs. You could do a direct upgrade from 32-bit home premium to 32-bit home ultimate if you wanted. But honestly the extra features enabled in Ultimate vs Home Premium are not something that a home PC user would have any reason to use.

So Basically I Can just first take all the important stuff from my computer save it some else where. And then put in the 64 bits disc windows 7 ultimate in my computer and the install of the new windows 7 ultimate will automatecly delete everything on my computer for me so I don't have to do that before the install right ? and get upgraded to 64 bits ? :D sorry lost you all little bit.

Is there a particular reason you want Ultimate? You could simply find a version of Home Premium 64-bit (I believe you can still download the iso's directly from Microsoft) and install that without needing to buy a new license key. It would cost you nothing.

The only thing you are getting with Ultimate over Home Premium is Bit-Locker (whole drive encryption), the ability to connect to a domain (very few home users have one), the ability to save backups to a network folder, the ability to change the language of the OS, and XP Mode which while neat is generally more work to get running than just dual-booting with XP if you really need it.

Noo ! it is not that I want the ultimate edition I don't even care about that just that I want the 64 bits home premium one but they are so expensive here and cant any of them because you either have to buy a completely new Os and I don't want that I just want a Upgrade from 32- bits to 64-bits actually that's all just I couldn't fin any upgrades at all on that :( ! And then I saw pretty cheap ultimate upgrade edition on ebay and I thought I might as well get that because it might end of cheaper then the price the charge in the stores for the systems !

Beware of cheap windows on ebay!!!
They are scams selling pirated copies.
You can't get more than about a 10% discount off of retail for a genuine copy.

Since you already have a genuine 32 bit version of windows 7, I suggest you download a ISO of windows 7 64 bit and burn it to a dvd. Or, you can borrow a copy. Use that to do the clean install, and you will be able to activate it using your original 32 bit activation code.

But when I example would put in a 64-bits CD in to my computer will it delete all my old data and things on my computer for me and convert my 32-bit Os to 64-bit then the install is finally done or do I have to first

Delete everything on my computer and then do the 64-bits disc install ?

When you do a clean install, as you must, boot from the 64 bit windows dvd and a menu will give you the option to override all that is on the target drive. No big deal, it is quick.
It is best to leave any other drives disconnected during the install.
