Major issues with custom build. (Not Booting)

My friend split his drink over my pc, I immediately turned it off and made sure nothing got inside, the only possible component it could of gotten to is the PSU.

The computer booted up before then went off (error came up describing a power surge fault of some kind) then hasn't worked since, I have surge protected sockets like most gamers and they are fine.

I have tried just the motherboard and psu to get any bleeps out of it for error's, but nothing. My DRAM light is constantly on with or without RAM.

Here are the specs:
Asus M4A88T-M
Phenom II x4 965
8GB Corsair Vengeance Ram
Corsair GS600W
ATI 6870 GPU

Any other information required don't hesitate to shout.

Thanks, Squaz

I would have your friend spit out the money for a new computer.

Well that doesn't get me any closer to finding out what the actual issue is, if i can find the specific hardware which are cause then he'll be paying for that.
