Memory frequency Kingston Hyperx Beast 8gb 1866Mhz

I finished my new system . AMD A8 6600K , mobo asrock fm2a85x extreme4, kingston hyperx beast 1866Mhz 8 gb. Memory ram works at 1333Mhz . I want to get them at 1866Mhz ( advertising speed ) . Is ok if i use in bios xmp profile ?? or change settings manually ??

Yes, you can use XMP and select profile1. It should work at the rated speed. Or try setting the speed manually in the BIOS (refer your manual). Either way it should as A8 series APU's are known to support 1866MHz. Good luck!

Thanks for your answer. I chosed 1866Mhz ram for a stabe system . Even if the motherboard support up to 2600Mhz(OC), i think with the 1866Mhz ram the system is the most stable.
