I currently have a GTX 660 FTW 2GB and want to know what would perform better the 660 in SLI or a single 770. Any input?

If, by perform better, you mean winning benchmarks, sli GTX660 will do better.
If you mean less lagging and stuttering, a single gpu will do better.
I think one should use a single card wherever possible.
Are you still eligible for a EVGA step up to a GTX770 or even GTX780?

i dont really care about benchmarks i want a solid gaming experience. so i will most likely go with the single 770. And i do not know about any EVGA programs. i purchased the 660 around march this year.

If it were i would go gtx 770 then sli down the road which would nicely outpoint the 2x 660s in sli for sure..

EVGA has a 90 day trade in program where you get back what you paid for your card as a trade in for a better card.
It sounds like you missed the window.
